 Ommegang Rare Vos Amber Ale

PC: ommegang brewery

Country of origin: Belgium

Beer style: Belgian Pale Ale

Ingredients:

  • Malts: Pilsner, aroma, caramel

  • Spices: Coriander, sweet orange peel, grains of paradise
  • Yeast: Ommegang house yeast

Taste: Dry and fruity, slightly hoppy with pleasant spiciness with a moderately dry finish.

The caramel maltiness is the signature taste for this Amber Ale – there’s little sweetness, making it a very mid-palette beer. It was also rated a 4.07/5 on BeerAdvocate! A must try.

Ommegang Nirvana IPA:

  • Kettle hopped with Bravo, Simcoe, Centennial, Topaz, and Mosaic
  • Dry hopped with Centennial, Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo
