What do we have on draft? – pt. 2

Ommegang White:

Ommegang White is brewed with both malted and unsalted wheat, orange peel, and coriander – this refreshing brew really shows the Belgian talent for brewing such full-flavored ales that are also light and balanced.

Country of origin: Belgium

Beer Style: Belgian Wit

Ingredients: Pilsner, unmalted and malted wheat, oak flakes, hops, coriander, sweet orange peel, ommegang house yeast

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter/April Fool’s Day everyone!

One of the absolute best parts of Easter for me has always been Cadbury Eggs, I have no idea why, but I’ve had a weird obsession with them since I was a child…

In the spirit of Easter, I decided to get a little fancy and see if there was any other way to eat a Cadbury Egg and sure enough….delish.com has the craziest and most creative ways recipes.

Check it out here

There’s over a DOZEN recipes and cool, funky ways to use Cadbury Eggs in dishes you probably already eat. The most fascinating for me was the “Cadbury Egg Cheesecake”

My mouth is watering just looking at that photo…cheesecake is one of my all time, top ten, favorite desserts and adding some Cadbury Eggs on top is a perfect Easter dessert option!

Another of the recipes really shocked me and probably will shock you as well…. .A Cadbury Egg Pizza.

Have you ever even heard of or thought this was possible?? Well sure enough it is.

This was one I was a little iffy about, but they put a yummy, sweet spin on a normal pizza, which is actually pretty cool. It has chocolate sauce, marshmallows, brownie bits, meringue, and of course, the Cadbury Eggs. Unfortunately, you can only get this interesting creation at only one place in the whole world, “Crazy Pedros Part Time Pizza Parlor” in the United Kingdom. But now if I ever visit the UK, trying this cadbury egg pizza is definitely in the top 20 of my bucket list, like how could it not be – it’s a dessert AND a pizza?! Craziness.

10 Best Spring Cocktails

According to https://www.thespruce.com/spring-cocktail-recipes-759873 , these 10 cocktails are impressive, easy, fresh and perfect for the spring and for any bar/restaurant feature!

My personal favorite was #10, the Rhubarb-Rosemary Daiquiri

Rhubarb has a very limited season, so it’s important to take advantage of it while you can! For this drink, you combine the rhubarb with a rosemary syrup and top-offed with your favorite light rum. It makes a refreshing and yummy drink with that perfect herbal twist; a spring favorite!

The best part about spring is that everything is sweet, savory, and just all around happy! The weather, the food, the drinks, puts everyone in an all around better mood.

As the snow melts, our drinks fill up, and the countdown to summer is on!
